This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).

At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.

The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL

Taking photos of the cards made from failed prints and plots

Started the day with the usual routine but wanted to tweak things, just a bit. I had this idea of spending more time documenting the studio and snapping some photos. Got some decent shots of the new layout for the August journal page. It's still weird that I keep forgetting to take more photos during the day. They're pretty helpful, but I bet I'll manage to lose them again.

Mid-morning was fun. I got into cutting up a magazine for the August journal page divider. There's something relaxing about manual tasks. While the glue was drying, it was the perfect moment to catch up on plotting out some new journal pages. The studio's been kind of busy since the weekend, and the plotter hasn't been writing any new pages, so now's a good opportunity.

Lunchtime was mainly preparing to dive into the newsletter. I do enjoy writing it; I find that it helps me wrap my head around what I've done during the week. It feels good to share those studio moments and updates. But it's a task that takes a fair chunk of the day. One thing led to another, and I found myself still working on it mid-afternoon. Sometimes it's hard to get everything to flow just right.

The studio heat was quite noticeable today. It hit 26 Celsius pretty early, and by the afternoon, things were getting toasty. It peaked at 29.8 Celsius yesterday evening. It makes moving around more tiring, but at least there's plenty of water thanks to the fridge. Grabbing cold bottles just makes everything feel a bit easier. Couldn't imagine last summer without it.

Wrapped up by reviewing the newsletter draft. It's not finished yet, but most of the heavy lifting's done. I'll add placeholders for the images and code stuff next week. It's coming together. I've got this feeling it's helping me unwind, which is welcome after a hectic few weeks.

Finally, thinking ahead, I do need to finish off the brush height video. Getting started on that tomorrow morning might be a good idea. There's always more to do, but step-by-step seems to be working.

SUGGESTIONS

Sure, Daniel. Here's your daily action plan:

Main Suggestion for the Day

Focus on integrating photography into your daily studio routine, ensuring you capture in-studio moments and begin sharing them on your platforms like Substack and Rodeo.

Action Points

  • Capture In-Studio Moments: Set specific times (e.g., mid-morning and mid-afternoon) to take photos of your ongoing projects and workspace.
  • Organize and Edit: Spend some dedicated time today editing the photos you capture and sorting through any backlog you have, ensuring they're ready for upload.
  • Share on Platforms: Post at least one edited photo on Substack and Rodeo, adding a brief description or story to engage your audience.

Affirmation

Your creativity and dedication are making a positive impact. Keep capturing and sharing your unique artistic journey.

Additional Thoughts

  • Self-Care Integration: Remember to balance your productivity with self-care. Use the time while doing relaxing activities like sticking and gluing for your journal to also reflect on your creative process.
  • Software Exploration: While BookbinderJS isn't for immediate use, consider allocating some time next week to experiment with it. It might streamline future zine projects. You're doing great, Daniel. Let's make today productive and creatively fulfilling!

Have a fantastic day in the studio!
