This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).

At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.

The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL

Just a tree on the way to the studio this morning

I'm really satisfied with the progress I made today on the "Preseed" project. It all seems to be coming together nicely. Although I was tempted to upload it this evening, I know better than to do it when I'm tired. So, I'll do a code review tomorrow morning with fresh eyes to ensure it's all good. Then, I'll make a video about the project and upload the whole lot to fxhash.

Working on the birthday cards and journal pages was good. It gave me a bunch of new ideas that I've added to the TODO list. I'm happy to get things sent off, although it probably took longer than it should have. That's because I tried out some new things, which was fun but time-consuming.

Considering the tricky financial week ahead, I plan to keep the creative and financial parts separate. I must focus on the creative side and not let financial stress interfere. The only thing I can do is keep going and try to manage both as best as possible. It's not ideal, but focusing on what I love doing helps.

I'm pleased I managed to get the Preseed code done, and I really like how it will work with the pen plotter. However, I'm worried about the sales side. Everything seems to be going slowly these days, and making a video is a lot of work if nothing comes from it. I hope the effort pays off in the end.

The timers for my productive session work well in the morning, but I struggle to stick to them after lunch. I might need to A/B test whether keeping those breaks in the afternoon would help break the illusion of productive flow. It feels silly, but it's something worth testing to see if it improves my output.

I also need to ensure the colour palettes are good for the Preseed project. Borrowing from the Concord project makes sense to keep things consistent. Viewing several outputs helps to ensure the aesthetics are right. The wobbly lines also add a nice touch, giving the design more character.

That's about it for today. Tomorrow looks like another day focused on coding and making sure everything is set for fxhash.

SUGGESTIONS

Main Suggestion for the Day

Optimize the Preseed Project and Prepare for Its Release

Quick Action Points

  • Test Color Palettes: Review various outputs to ensure the color palettes borrowed from the Concord project align aesthetically with the Preseed project. Make adjustments as needed.
  • Enhance Line Features: Add code for decimating and randomly moving points along each line to create the wobbly visual effect that matches YYYSeed.
  • Draft Video Outline: Start sketching out the script and structure for the video to record on Tuesday, ensuring it clearly explains the project and its appeal to potential fxhash viewers.

Affirmation

"You have the creativity and determination to bring your vision to life. Every step you take today brings you closer to a successful project release."

Additional Thoughts

From previous days, it's clear that balancing short-term tasks (like immediate project needs) with long-term goals (like studio automation) is key. It's also important to keep an eye on your well-being by maintaining your 50-minute work and 10-minute break schedule, especially in the afternoon when you tend to forget. Managing financial stress and maintaining a workflow that includes creative breaks can help improve your overall productivity and mental state. Good luck, and you're doing great!
