This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).
At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.
The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL
This morning started with me checking the bank account. It's always a tense moment, but pleasantly, the cheque I paid in yesterday has cleared. That’s a relief and means I can pay the studio rent on the current place, so we're all squared away on that front. Feeling a lot better for having that sorted.
Then I dove into my usual round of emails and admin. Sketching out an outline for next week's newsletter took up a bit of the morning. I've got a bunch of ideas bouncing around for it, so it felt good to start shaping them into something coherent.
I also turned my attention to the upcoming Paper Camp presentation. I've been mulling over what format it should take. I reckon a keynote presentation will do the trick, particularly if the audience is large and I need a big screen to get the points across. But I'm also toying with the idea of having a more hands-on demo in the “paper pit” for anyone interested. Either way, it's going to be crucial to nail this bit down.
By mid-afternoon, I was knee-deep in code. Jo gave me an SVG signature file, and I spent some time converting it into a format usable by my pen plotter tools. It wasn't what I'd intended to work on today, but it was a productive diversion and pretty enjoyable overall. Experimenting with textures and patterns using that SVG file has been oddly satisfying, and I managed to get a couple of nice plots out of it.
I took some videos for the weeknotes while the pen plotters were running. Though I didn't shoot as much as I’d hoped, it was still progress. Tomorrow, I’ll need to start compiling the footage I have into something resembling a video, particularly as I won’t have much time on Friday to do a full edit.
It’s starting to get chilly, making me think the fan can go back into storage for now. Winter is definitely making its presence felt. Walking around outside, I can see I’ll need gloves soon enough.
Overall, a good, productive day. Plenty of small wins to keep things moving along. Tomorrow, I need to focus on those design projects I’ve been putting off. Might be time to let the pens rest and get more of the prep work done.
