Ah, Friday, a bit of a whirlwind of productivity and studio chaos. My day began with intentions to tackle the lingering studio disarray. With the impending arrival of the plan chests on Monday, it was a great opportunity to clear space and start fresh. Not everything has found its place yet, but moving tables and making room for the plan chests felt like a step forward. A bit like moving chess pieces to set up the board for the next big play. Thankfully, my efforts paid off, and the physical reorganisation was rewarding, preparing the ground for next week’s organisational blitz.

The Weeknotes editing session was today's main event. It's something I enjoy, as it's a moment to reflect on the week gone by. It’s like weaving together a narrative of the week’s adventures, even if the editing can sometimes be monotonous. Around lunchtime, I snuck out to meet up with Nixie in town. A quick catch-up over lunch is always a welcome break, especially amidst a day of studio tasks. After some pizza – my little secret indulgence – it was back to business.

The afternoon saw more video editing, bringing me closer to completing the Weeknotes. There's satisfaction in seeing everything come together, even if it involves hours staring at a screen. As the day wound down, I made a point to upload the latest #Weeknotes, a satisfying tick off the to-do list. Wrapping up the working week had me looking forward to the weekend.

Reflecting on today, I was grateful for simple joys. Warm heated blankets became a comforting ritual, especially with the chilly Shrewsbury breeze. Spending time with family, watching films like 'Tremors', added a cosy end to the day. As the sun sets, the weekend awaits with a promise of leisure and maybe a bit more tidying.
