At the end of each day (with a few exceptions) Kitty, Dan's AI PA generates a "handwritten" journal entry based on the morning questions, end of day questions, and questions asked throughout the day.
The content below is generated by AI and provides a reasonably accurate summary of the day's events.
JOURNALS
Today was a bit of a mixed bag. Started off early with plotting out yesterday's journal pages that I didn't get done, at around 6 AM. Felt good to get that ticked off the list.
By 7:30, I was back home from the studio. Took it easy for breakfast and lounged around for a bit. I had great plans to do some journaling and visualisation, but it was just too hot to do much of anything. Instead, I experimented with getting AI to analyse a year's worth of my Q&A. Bit of a letdown – the AI seemed stuck on only looking at the last three months. Frustrating, but noted for future attempts!
Midday was designated for shuffling stuff between studios. Popped a few things into a big rucksack and made some trips. It’s the last leg of the move, just bits and bobs now. Glad that’s nearly over. Got home, had some breakfast. Then took it easy.
Also spent some time throwing command-line scripts at a game called Bitburner. It’s this fun hacking simulation where you write scripts in JavaScript. Somehow, this was absolutely fine for my eyes. Coding away without headaches was bliss compared to other screen-heavy activities.
Had a discussion with Nixie about re-jigging the furniture at home. Our current setup isn’t working for either of us. I’ve got a lovely sofa for lounging, but it's awful for sitting upright and doing any meaningful work like journaling. We brainstormed how to create a comfortable workspace where we could engage in ‘parallel play’ – being in the same room but doing our own thing. That’s a project for another day.
The day wasn't completely lost. Managed to plot some birthday cards and get them ready for the post. Felt productive, even if it was a small task.
Overall, not bad. Achieved some stuff, but really, the heat just slowed everything down. Tomorrow’s another day – perhaps the weather will be kinder, or at least maybe I’ll be better prepped for it. Fingers crossed.
