Today started with me plotting out my to-do list, aiming to keep things on track. Bright and early, I got cracking with the Friday segment of the #weeknotes video. It's always a bit of a juggle, but I've gotten the hang of it over time.

I had a midday run to drop my eldest son off at an event, which chopped up the day a bit. But hey, it offered a nice break from the studio. The event's location was lovely, full of friendly folks. Felt pretty confident that he was in for a good time.

With how hot it was, I didn't feel like heading back to the studio, so I finished the video from home. I spent a solid chunk of the afternoon exporting and uploading the #weeknotes video. Quite a chill and relaxed way to round off the task.

The estate agent update was a mixed bag. Turns out, the solicitor did their job yesterday, but with computer system issues everywhere, the agent hadn’t gotten around to informing me. So, while things are technically still on schedule, it was a mild confirmation rather than the definitive "yes" I was hoping for. Mildly reassuring but also kind of underwhelming.

As for the artistic front, yesterday's pen plotting session didn't throw up any new ideas or adjustments. I’m really looking forward to putting together the upcoming lessons where the code and pen plots intersect more excitingly. I want folks to see a vivid outcome right from the start.

It all wrapped up on a relatively positive note. Despite no significant updates from the estate agent, no chaos ensued. Took a moment to appreciate that pleasant drive and the good vibes at the event. So, all in all, it was a balanced mix of productive and personal, with a sprinkle of hope and mild disappointment—just another day in the life, I guess.

Feeling tense but hopeful. Here’s to tomorrow bringing more good news.
