This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).

At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.

The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL

Monday started with a positive vibe. I've been looking forward to diving into those tutorial scripts I wrote months ago. There's something satisfying about revisiting work after letting it sit - the first draft is never great, but most of the content is there. The plan was to read through them and figure out what I've already done and what's left to do.

The pen plotter stamping test went well this morning. Nothing went wrong, which is always a good sign! It gave me some useful feedback on adjustments I need to make. Then I switched over to work mode before I could make much progress on the scripts.

I had to take a parcel to the post office at lunchtime, which went smoothly. Always nice when errands don't become complicated.

The most satisfying part of my day wasn't what I expected. I ended up printing pages for a small book I'm making as a gift for a friend who had an exhibition. I shot some video there, but I really like how the stills look, so I'm putting together a little book of them.

I didn't make as much progress with the tutorial scripts as I'd hoped. Got distracted by other things - typical me - but at least they were enjoyable distractions. That's the way it goes sometimes. You start the day with one plan and end up following a different path.

Tonight I need to sew four of those zines after cooking dinner. Not particularly looking forward to the cooking part, but I think I'll have enough energy afterward to tackle the sewing. Just need to force myself to do it, honestly.

Overall, a decent Monday. Not exactly what I planned, but productive in its own way. The studio continues to be my happy place, even when I veer off my intended course.

SUGGESTIONS

Monday Morning Guidance

Main Suggestion for Today

Focus on reviewing and refining your pen plotting tutorial scripts today. Since you've already written the first batch, use this momentum to prepare for recording by ensuring the scripts are tight and well-structured, which will make the editing process smoother later.

Quick Actions

  • Set aside dedicated time to review the existing scripts and assess what needs polishing
  • Test your letterpress stamping code on the pen plotter as planned
  • Take your Amazon return to the post office during lunch break

Affirmation

You're making excellent progress on multiple creative projects simultaneously - your organization and dedication are paying off!

Additional Thoughts

I notice you've made great progress with the zines - all cut, all folded, and half of them sewn! Your plan to finish the remaining 8 over the next two evenings sounds very manageable. The tutorial videos seem to be your next major focus, and it's smart to think about differentiating their visual style from your Weeknotes. Regarding your mention of sugar challenges, perhaps we could look at some simple meal prep options for busy days to help you stay on track with your nutrition goals.
