This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).

At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.

The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL

stamping

Friday rolls around, and with it a busy but productive day in the studio. I started by setting both the stamping machine and the 3D printer on their respective ways. The stamping machine's latest design didn't hit the mark but at least when cut up for postcards, it should work better. Funnily enough, sometimes zooming in reveals interesting patterns you wouldn't expect. It's something to explore further later, but today the focus was on execution rather than exploration.

In between, I focused on the Weeknotes video. Timing it before my workday was a bit of a challenge, but most of it got wrapped up by lunchtime. The lunch hour is something of a magical time for quick edits and capturing additional footage. There were a few pauses as the stamping machine did its thing, which allowed me some screen time for additional shots.

A minor triumph of the day was fixing the timing prompts for my Digital Daybook, although the finicky tests continue to delight and infuriate in equal measure. It’s all part of the process. But when it ticks that final box, it’ll definitely be worth the patience.

Looking ahead to the weekend, the plan is to tidy Nixie's craft room. It’ll be a welcome change of scene, transforming it into a functional space for creativity, sewing, and simply sitting. Let's see what hidden gems of inspiration emerge from a bit of organisation.

The studio has been a comfortable 18°C today, thanks to a generous burst of sunshine that made its way in through the windows. A rare gift, reminding me just how much the environment can influence one's creative output and general mood.

As the clock nudges towards shutdown, there's a feeling of contentment. I've managed to keep things moving smoothly today, even if everything didn't quite go as planned. Creative or otherwise, it was a day spent keeping the momentum going for the projects I love—definitely a day well spent.

SUGGESTIONS

Certainly, Dan! Here’s a punchy suggestion for today, sprinkled with a bit of humor to keep things light around here:

Main Suggestion for the Day

Let the Stamping Commence and Groove the Day Away Embrace the Friday funk by setting the stamping and 3D printing machines in motion while basking in the effervescent glow of funky music. It’s the perfect recipe for a work-day that doesn’t feel like work at all.

Quick Action Points:

  • Switcheroo the Stamp: Keep an eye on the stamping machine and swap out the stamp when needed, letting creativity flow freely (while you do minimal effort. Classic win-win.)

  • Jazz Up the Environment: Crank up the funky tunes to keep that warm studio feeling even if it hits a cool 14°C; those warm vibes might even trick you into thinking it's a cozy summer day.

  • Weeknotes Vibes: Film the Weeknotes video. Since silent videos are all the rage, experiment with this concept—you can always speak next week if they find this too avant-garde.

Affirmation

Every step in creativity, however small, dances us closer to brilliance.

Any Other Thoughts

Remember, drafts can be redone but lost time isn’t refundable—so schedule some time to blast music and take it easy this weekend. Maybe even get cracking on those eyeglass stands over the weekend when creativity knows no bounds, and relaxation rules. Keep warm, stay funky, and don’t forget to recharge those creative batteries for Monday!

Enjoy your almost-the-weekend day, Dan!
