Friday was quite the dance of editing and brainstorming, with a side of battling the weather. Started off with the trusty weeknotes, snipping and trimming like a haircut gone rogue. I thought I'd tackle them quickly, yet they seemed to morph into a longer project, possibly because of trying to get the video polished. But hey, who doesn't love a good challenge?

Mid-morning, I eased into discussions on the scratchpad prompts for the daybook. Had a good chinwag with Alex that reshuffled my thoughts a bit. It left me some architectural tinkering to smooth out, but nothing a bit of brain persistence can't handle. The documentation was lurking on my to-do list for the afternoon, which was fine since I knew exactly where I wanted to take it.

Round about lunchtime, I decided to grab a bite, mostly to refuel before diving back into the secondary prompt set documentation. This part seems like my Everest at the moment – a tough climb, but the view from the top is going to be epic, no doubt.

The weather made itself known, doing its best impersonation of a particularly unrelenting wind machine. Even so, the studio was warm-ish, a relative win judging by previous icebox conditions. I'm definitely grateful for that slight increase in comfort. Also on the gratitude list: my trusty M4 laptop, slashing through video editing tasks with ease, and my new phone case – mundane, perhaps, but it's surprising how much small upgrades can brighten your day.

Despite the wild weather and projects aplenty dancing in my head, today wraps up quite satisfyingly. Things aren't finished, far from it, but the seeds of progress are well and truly planted. Now, time to gently usher all these hints of ideas into something concrete. Friday, you were a different beast, but I rather liked you in the end.
