This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).
At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.
The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL
Thursday was a bit of a whirlwind. I started my day wearing the hat of a newsletter writer. I needed to get a quick one out before 11:00, which, despite being less than ideal, went surprisingly well. I focused on some insights about acrylic inks and pen plotting, which seemed a good value add for the readers. Short but sweet, and checked off the list.
By 11:00, it was ink testing time. I plunged back into the world of fluorescent pinks and iridescent golds. Surprisingly, the pink worked better than expected on white paper, and the golden iridescent on black was a pleasant twist. It's funny how these tests can take up more time than plotting code, but it's all part of the artistic process.
Then it was deep dive into quadtree code development. I feel a bit behind schedule on this one, but sometimes that’s just the nature of the beast. The pink ink's unexpected success influenced a slight redirection in the quadtree design. Not planning for that, but it’s a nice surprise.
Music was a lifesaver today. Blasting tunes to drown out the noise and keep me moving. Between ink tests and getting the newsletter out, it was an intense day. The movement around the studio, checking on plots, provided those necessary breaks. I just ploughed through without the ten-minute breaks – as I keep wondering, would I be more productive with them? Maybe, maybe not.
The evening was spent running through the Papercamp presentation in my head – several times. Putting together the keynote slides was quicker than I thought, but I still felt unprepared. Balancing index cards and the phone on stage – manageable, but tight.
Gratitude today? Absolutely. Prepping the keynote slides went smoothly, the inks worked a treat, and dinner was surprisingly swift to cook – saving valuable time.
Reflecting on it all, it was a full-on day from dawn till dusk. Managed to juggle multiple tasks well, although the ink testing nudged me in a slightly different, yet exciting, direction. Now it’s to keep the momentum going and refine things for the days ahead.
