This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).

At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.

The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL

Today was all about taking it easy and celebrating my youngest's 16th birthday. I managed to get the three emails out first thing in the morning, which was a relief. Clearing that admin early meant I could really focus on enjoying the day without any extra work hanging over me.

For lunch, we had some special birthday food, and I must say, those hot dogs were a real treat. I know they’re not great for me, but sometimes you’ve just got to indulge. It’s important to celebrate these little milestones properly.

In the afternoon, I tried to soak in all the moments without pulling out a camera. It was nice to just be in the moment and observe how each of us interacted and celebrated. It’s funny how different generations experience birthdays and cameras. Our kids, much like I was at their age, aren’t keen on having their photos taken, which I get. But as parents, we do want those memories captured.

The day wrapped up with a family meal, which was a great way to end the celebrations. The slower pace of the day, although filled with activities, made me feel very content and happy. I’m genuinely grateful for hitting this milestone with our youngest, having the privilege to take time off to celebrate it, and yes, those hot dogs.

Reflecting on today, I feel like we’ve done well raising our children, and today marked a significant point in that journey. Here’s to another milestone celebrated, and more easy-going days like this where the focus is on family and simple joys.

SUGGESTIONS

Main Suggestion for Today

Focus on fully embracing and celebrating your youngest child's 16th birthday by staying present and minimizing distractions.

Quick Action Points

  • Send the three essential emails first thing in the morning: Get these out of the way early to clear your mind and free up your schedule for the rest of the day.
  • Enjoy a hike up the hill with your youngest: Choose the scenic, lesser-known path for a peaceful and enjoyable experience.
  • Have a relaxed birthday meal in the evening: Connect with your family over special food and celebrate this milestone without any work-related thoughts.

Affirmation

You are a fantastic parent and artist, balancing both responsibilities with love and dedication. Today, cherish the moments with your family, knowing you’ve set the stage for a memorable day.

Other Thoughts

Given the ongoing context of taking it easy this week and focusing on family time, it’s important to uphold the intent to relax and celebrate. Setting a clear boundary by getting the essential tasks done early will help you stay present throughout the day. Tomorrow, you can think about adjusting which endpoint is being used and modifying the prompts if time allows, but for today, let the joy of your youngest child's 16th birthday be the main priority.
