This is a collection of things that Kitty (the AI PA) created for the day. Starting with questions in the morning and then creating a todo list for me (Daniel) to follow. Suggestions for the day are also created (although I've put them at the end to make the layout better).

At the end of the day Kitty will ask some "END OF DAY QUESTIONS", which aren't included here, and then creates a journal entry, as if was written by me, which then gets written using Kitty's drawing machine into my paper journal.

The content below is generated by AI, not all days contain all the things.

JOURNAL

Saturday rolled around with all the subtlety of a plotter pen running out of ink—unexpected but somewhat refreshing. They say idleness is the devil’s workshop, but for a contemporary print artist who’s usually neck-deep in code and pen plotter swirls, a day with no plans is like uncharted territory—mysterious and slightly intimidating in its freedom.

Spent the morning at the old studio, which always has this tranquil air about it, as if the machines and unfinished projects are quietly conversing about art and life. The journey back home was filled with that ‘weekend vibe’—a mix of relief and the tantalising prospect of doing absolutely nothing productive.

Once home, the Downloads folder on my laptop glared at me. Remember when I said I’d keep on top of organising my files? Well, the folder's ballooned size begged to differ. Diving into the digital decluttering process, I wrestled the chaos from a daunting 280 folders to a manageable zero by the day’s end. There’s something oddly soothing about sifting through the virtual mess and coming out victorious. It's not the thrill of the creative chase I'm used to, but it hits different, like the satisfaction of a well-inked line landing just right on paper.

The notion of gaming crossed my mind, a leisure staple for unwinding. Yet, the allure of tidying digital spaces swept away those plans.

Despite intentions to bask in the glow of other artists’ webpages for some website redesign inspiration, the day had other plans. Instead, I allowed myself to get absorbed in the moment, letting go of expectations. It's quite liberating, really, to just let the day unfold at its own pace, unscheduled and unburdened by the usual creative pursuits.

Reflecting on today, it's been an odd blend of relaxation and productivity outside the realms of my usual artistry. Sometimes, breaking away from the structured chaos of creativity to tackle a different kind of chaos can be exactly what the doctor ordered. Well, if doctors prescribed digital decluttering as a form of therapy, that is. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what it'll bring? But for now, it's time to recharge and dream up new plots—both in art and in life.

Here’s to the unplanned adventures that ended up being exactly what we needed.
