Ah, Friday! Today was a mix of chill vibes and tackling a few projects head-on. I started the day on a creative high, largely inspired by yesterday’s stamping experiments. The primary task was to reskin a notebook with a handcrafted stamped cover, and I must say, it came out surprisingly well. I even managed to shoot some video footage of the whole process, which I plan to edit into my weeknotes. Though the stamp code needs a little debugging, the journey was worth it.

It being Valentine's Day added a lovely touch to the day. I leaned into the simplicity and let myself go with the flow. I've realised that balance aids my creativity and mood, helping me stay productive. Bouncing between work and self-care, I took my work to a warmer co-working space, fleeing the studio’s relentless chill. It's incredible how cold fingers can get in there! It doesn’t help that my new low-cal diet means less warmth from fewer calories.

Editing the weeknotes video went smoother than on other days, and I wrapped up the Digital Daybook tweaks too, despite not quite reaching the level of feature updates I had hoped for. But progress is progress, and it felt satisfying.

Also on my list was a jaunt into town at lunchtime. Armed with my plan, I grabbed some wrapping paper, dealt with a couple of presents, and made it back in time to finish off more Digital Daybook bits before heading home. Evenings like these, strawberries in hand, are a treat.

All in all, today was quite the mix of creativity, errands, a cozy co-working spot, and a nod to love. My key takeaway is to tackle each task as it comes but remain flexible. I'm grateful for warmer places to work, my lovely wife on this Valentine’s, and having these small challenges to drive creativity. Now, time to relax a bit and enjoy the weekend vibes ahead.
