Friday had me waking up with a bit of creative excitement as I prepared to delve into the world of inks. Today was all about progressing on my Sea Howls project inks, and my expectations were high. With six inks lined up and only three tested so far, I had an inkling of the joy they’d bring. Testing is all about the expected thrills, and today was about enjoying the process while inching closer to completion.

My workspace got a warm upgrade, quite literally. Instead of the usual blanket on my lap, I bravely decided to place my heated blanket on my chair and sat on it. It might sound odd, but it was strangely comforting, the kind of comfort that makes me reflect on the genius behind heated car seats. It kept me cosy, and since I was planning to focus, it was an enhancement I didn't know I needed.

The plan for the day was straightforward. I had some weeknotes video editing to handle first thing in the morning, condensing Monday to Wednesday into a short segment. Then it was time for the work project involving some admin stuff. Alongside this, my pen plotter was set to work plotting postcards for the exchange. The aim was to get eight postcards done today and the rest next week, keeping things chill and not overwhelming.

On the admin front, I also needed to post my old passport and perhaps finally solve the ink mystery by identifying other colourful options missing from my collection.

Though it’s quite chillier than I’d prefer at a brisk 7.8 Celsius, I find myself at ease and positive about the agenda ahead. I still envision improvements to Kitty, wanting smarter, more personalised prompts tied to my to-do list and a better grip on those addresses for my postcard exchanges. But for now, it's about finishing today’s tasks, staying warm, and embracing the simpler joys of a productive Friday.

I’m also planning to return to some personal coding projects over the weekend, focusing on improving Kitty’s follow-up question strategy. Let’s hope for a warm and cosy break!
