Today was a mix of cardboard chaos and some creative progress. First off, the storage boxes arrived, saving me from a yarn avalanche. Now, instead of a colourful mess, I've got neat little containers. It's not exactly Pinterest-perfect, but it's a start. My front room has gone from "Oh dear" to "Hmm, manageable." I'm calling this a win. Sorting out the other room still looms over the weekend plans, but I've got nothing but optimism—famous last words, right?

On a creative note, I dabbled in some handwriting fonts and got the birthday card sorted. That's a task I'll tick off with satisfaction. Tomorrow, it's the studio for some printing action. Mixing a bit of art with my organisation felt oddly therapeutic today. The coding bit didn't quite flow as smoothly. I made progress, but there's more to chew on there.

Lesson of the day: Physical chores knock me out. I was too tired to even think about cooking, so I’ve devised a cunning plan to throw together a low-effort stew for future similar situations. It's the culinary equivalent of a warm hug.

The day was packed, but when I sit back and think about it, storage boxes have become today's lifeline. More storage boxes than I can count, but they have been a small blessing. I'll need a shrine to storage boxes at this rate.

All in all, not a bad day. It wasn't the artistic revolution I sometimes dream of, but rooms are getting neater, tasks are checked off, and I'm inching closer to a tidier creative space. Plus, knowing I've got a card ready for a friend makes me feel pretty good. I think I've earned a moment of relaxation before diving back into more room sorting madness.
