Today was a productive day in the studio with a mix of assembling, organizing, and planning. I finally set up that desk shelf I've had in a box for days. It felt good to swap out the old bread bin for something that might actually help me keep organized. Although I didn't use it for long, I'm feeling optimistic it'll change my workspace for the better once I get back here next week.

After the shelf came the endless task of sorting books. I focused mainly on moving books from upstairs to downstairs, switching around the contents of the rooms. The reward was seeing spaces in the right places, even if it didn't tidy everything immediately. Still, Nixie will be pleased to find some order soon for her course.

Lunch involved cooking, which gave me a break from all the manual tasks. The stew's reward will definitely be appreciated later. I've noticed being mindful about preparing meals has a positive knock-on effect on how the rest of the day feels.

Afterwards, I took a much-needed break with Peglin. It was lovely to switch gears, delving into short bursts of coding before settling into the gaming zone for a while. Gaming remains my favourite way to unwind after a long day, creating a satisfying balance between productivity and relaxation.

I was also happy with how plans continued to unfold smoothly throughout the day without too many interruptions or unexpected hurdles. Given the typical chaos during holiday breaks, ticking off some tasks today felt like a win. Looking over my list at the end of the day, I felt accomplished, with fewer lingering tasks hanging over my head.

Lastly, reflecting on moments of gratitude, the simplicity of having a more streamlined space, the books finally finding their homes, and the joy of gaming recapped an overall positive and fulfilling day. Thank you for a straightforward and achievable Wednesday!
