Well, today was another rollercoaster, and it's only Thursday. I spent most of my morning hunkered down, trying to get through the newsletter, which always seems to take longer than expected. Every time I think I'll nip it in the bud swiftly, it unfurls into a deep dive into my own chaotic thoughts. Nevertheless, I managed to wrap it up by mid-afternoon.

I also made a start on generating some images to accompany the newsletter. Sometimes, finding the ideal visuals can be a bit like hunting for a needle in a haystack. It takes a fair chunk of time, but it's rewarding to see how well they complement the text once everything is laid out. By lunchtime, I was knee-deep in pixel peeping.

Come afternoon, the newsletter was still lingering in my mind, but I switched gears and dived into pen plotter programming. I'm gradually finding my rhythm with the drawing machine and getting quicker at it too. Each session feels less daunting than the last, and I look forward to discovering what I can create next.

Later, I ducked out briefly to get more paint. It's all for the studio revamps, which seem endless at this point, but there's something quite satisfying in seeing the fresh layers of colour.

Evening came around, and I was back to bumbling with digital collaging. Truthfully, I still favour analogue with tangible paper. But every time I do sit to experiment with the digital counterpart, it surprises me with something unexpected, just enough to lure me back for another go later.

In the evening, I cooked dinner and finally planned a brief collaging session. A semi-chaotic but oddly satisfying day, and all the while managing to dodge distractions. Crafting the newsletter gave me a strange sense of accomplishment today. Although it swallowed much of my day, I'm keeping my eyes on tomorrow to finally tackle some video projects. The week isn't over yet, and I cherish whenever I can squeeze in just a bit more creativity before the week folds into the next.
