Wednesday already! Today was another one of those days where I found myself playing 'juggle the projects', trying to keep everything in the air. Breakfast was a nice quiet moment, munching away while mapping out the day in my head.

I started the day at the studio, giving the first half of the room its third coat of yellow paint. I’m counting on it taking a few days to dry properly, not that I’m impatient or anything, but it would be nice to see progress without the floor sticking to my shoes!

Then it was off to the hot desking spot, with a plan to dive headfirst into the t-shirt design I was unexpectedly assigned this week. Gave myself a metaphorical pat on the back when I wrapped it up today. Might need a few tweaks, but the bulk is done and it actually turned out to be a bit of a fun ride.

The afternoon was all about balance, or at least trying to maintain it! I zipped back home for my youngest’s appointment - family duties. It’s funny how these moments make you realise how important it is to keep life’s seesaw level. Then it was time for a paint pit stop, stocking up on supplies for the next wave of studio renovations.

I wrapped up the day by reflecting a bit on all this digital collaging business. There’s something tricky about those clipping masks, and my digital collages aren’t quite stacking up against their paper counterparts. I’ll crack the digital code eventually – just a matter of mileage, I reckon.

In quieter moments, I'm grateful for having a warm workspace, SNACKS to keep me going, and the cheerful splash of yellow brightening my studio floor. It’s the little things, really. Winding down, it strikes me how rewarding keeping deadlines to a minimum can be, allowing a bit of breathing space amidst the chaos.

With that, I wind down the day, ready to hit the pillow with thoughts of another busy week ahead. Living the dream, one busy project at a time.
