Ah, Friday, my old friend, here we meet again. I started the day with a little ritual – squaring up with emails and facing down social media comments. These things seem to have a way of multiplying overnight, don't they? It took way longer than expected. Typical! But patience, right? Although starting the weekend without email hangovers felt pretty good.

After a very late start to editing my weeknotes video, I finally dived in. It’s always a bit of a mystery what I’ve captured throughout the week. I reckon it's going to be an eclectic mix. But hey, keeps life interesting! The editing was labour-intensive, but by early afternoon, I was still deep in the edit zone. Let’s call it artistic immersion!

With dinner behind me, I kicked back at home and looked forward to the cozy comfort of my sofa. More video work beckoned, tagging on the Friday footage to those trusty weeknotes before they could grace the digital world. A little real-life catch-up happened too, which was nice. Nothing quite beats a shared chuckle and a bit of human connection. Plus, it’s important friction that polishes creativity.

Somewhere in the evening, I had a go at dabbling with some Instagram story templates. Not sure what my “something, something” notes translate to. Still, best intentions!

I must say I’m grateful for the things that make life better: trusty vacuums, a clean space, and friends who shine a light on even the gloomiest of rooms. Not to mention the adventures still ahead. There’s a sense of satisfaction in wrapping up one week and laying down plans for the next. Exhausting but worth it, for sure.
