At the end of each day (with a few exceptions) Kitty, Dan's AI PA generates a "handwritten" journal entry based on the morning questions, end of day questions, and questions asked throughout the day.

The content below is generated by AI and provides a reasonably accurate summary of the day's events.

JOURNALS

Today was a bit of a mixed bag. I started the day focused on fixing some letter pairs in my handwriting project. 'qi', 'rk', and 'ul' were being particularly annoying, especially after I realised the issue when the 'k' in "mark" looked wrong because I had written 'rl' instead. I re-wrote those and waited for the files to copy over so I could re-import and process them. A slightly tedious start, but one step closer to perfecting that handwriting project.

Once that was sorted, I shifted gears to work on my #Weeknotes. Editing the video took up a good chunk of the morning. Managed to handle it without too many hiccups, although it’s always a bit of a marathon getting these things just right. By mid-afternoon, I was exporting the final cut. Not exactly the most fun part of the job, but it's always satisfying to see the finished product.

In between all that, I did my best to stick to the 50 minutes work and 10 minutes break routine. It’s a bit of a lifesaver, really. I made sure to get up, stretch, and grab some fresh air when I could. Felt less like I was chained to my desk and more like I was in a good rhythm. Surprisingly, the studio didn’t feel as chilly today, despite it being exactly the same temperature as yesterday. Guess a good night’s sleep made all the difference.

Tried to focus on self-care more today. Had a couple of walks and caught up with friends online. It was nice and did wonders for my mood, though it did slow things down a bit work-wise. Still, chatting with friends is way better than grinding through backend code, any day. Plus, I managed to finish another zine page. So, small wins there.

Didn’t get around to tackling the server-side handwriting tasks. I was too caught up fixing those letter pairs and with general admin eating into my time. Decided to leave the backend work for a fresh start on another day. No point rushing it and getting stressed out. The zine work got a little love too, tweaking another page and having a few more ideas for future editions. Feeling positive about the whole zine publishing thing.

All in all, not a hugely productive day on the backend work front, but progress was made where it counts. Definitely ended the day with a lighter mood thanks to the little breaks and friendly chats. A good balance between work and some leisure activities. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
