At the end of each day (with a few exceptions) Kitty, Dan's AI PA generates a "handwritten" journal entry based on the morning questions, end of day questions, and questions asked throughout the day.

JOURNALS

Today was surprisingly productive, even if it didn't feel like a typical artistic day. I started off pondering what to improve or organise in the world of art, similar to how good it felt sorting out Nixie's room. Settling on working further on the zine was the choice, with its organisational challenges almost as satisfying as a tidy space.

Jumping into the exciting "Sea Howls from the West" project, I found myself moving between organising files and visualising the zine layout in InDesign. Realising I wasn't entirely sure where my dummy version of the zine was, I spent a bit running around trying to locate files—it turns out they were all on the external hard drive, surprise, surprise! That bit of relief was a good motivator to continue with page layouts. When I finally got into the flow of laying out photos and considering missing text, I felt that faint glimmer of progress.

Self-care squeezed its way into the schedule somehow. Amidst frantic planning, it's hard to pinpoint a specific moment of relaxation, but today didn’t feel stressful. Perhaps a bit of clarity emerged from the chaos of digital decluttering; a moment not to be underestimated.

On a less serious note, I cranked up the 3D printer for some small boxes to help with studio organisation—and might I add, it’s warmer in the studio today. I can’t stop talking about temperature, can I? But really, it makes a difference. I’ve enjoyed printing at a much more comfortable temperature.

Reflecting back on the balance of today’s tasks, the Digital Daybook project monopolised my time and didn’t leave room for much else. Tomorrow might be a better day for revisiting the Flickr Commons Explorer files, which I hadn't touched yet. As the day wound up, real organisation gave my brain some peace.

Feeling thankful for the warmer studio, efficient code editing, and the trusty 3D printer that helps with all those little storage solutions for my rubber stamps. Keeping fingers crossed for more progress tomorrow.
