Tuesday rolled in with the usual studio chill, where the low of 4.8 degrees overnight became a talking point among the studio equipment. I wrapped up warmly and, with a cup of non-caffeinated something, dug into plans for the day.

The day’s scheme was pretty straightforward: tackle a work-video balance by experimenting with my new Osmo Pocket 3 camera. Editing video was first on the list. Learning its quirks while being productive seemed like a good balance, echoing my time management success from previous bustling days.

The aim was to maintain the harmony between productivity and creativity, using video making as both an outlet and a task. By nine in the morning, my focus shifted to the studio zine. I began sketching layout ideas, bracing myself for an adventurous attempt at special fold-out pages. This involved visualising elements fitting onto A5 pages and mentally mapping potential spreads.

The afternoon winged in a course in Python & Flask, a crash course that was unexpectedly swapped in. After my lunch break, the gentle distraction of thinking about Mystic Kitty balanced out the coding intensity. It turned an intimidating delve into something engaging.

The comfort from my warm blanket setup helped battle the studio's relentless chill. I was wrapped in layers, my foot warmer diligently doing its part to keep comfort levels balanced. Evening fell, time to pack up with a sense of positivity. I considered the day successful—my creative ventures were met with productivity, a personal achievement and a step forward in the studio's evolving projects.

The gratitude list today included heated blankets for taming the cold and the joy of seeing my fountain pens smoothly inking, a reminder that despite the technology tangents throughout the day, my heart is still linked to the hand-drawn elegance of stationery.
