Wednesday was a bit of a juggling act, to be honest. Started off with the plan to push my creativity with my plotter projects, but quickly shifted my focus—because, you know, shiny new plotter in the studio. I spent a good chunk of the afternoon wrestling with the pen plot art webpage. It's hilarious how something so seemingly straightforward turned into quite the fuddle. Working on just my laptop wasn't ideal and my eyes were straining after a while. Where’s a good monitor when you need one, right? If only squinting was a superpower!

In the midst of all this web work, I had the dance of moving into a new studio space while seeing to someone else's moving, too. The old studio has been a bit of a stress magnet, I’ll admit. But surprisingly, no rain leaked – a win I’m especially grateful for today.

On the brighter side, I had the chance to unbox and tinker with the new plotter. There's something thrilling about the anticipation of getting hands-on with a new piece of kit. I also found mindfulness in my gratitude practice. It’s wild how comforting it is when you just remind yourself everything will really be okay. And I suppose the real challenge is carrying that calm forward until it truly is all fine and sorted.

By the time the people turned up to move their things into the studio, I'd somehow managed the chaotic day I had planned. After the commotion settled, I took a moment to just be thankful. Grateful for the new beginning, the lack of studio leaks, and definitely for getting to play with that shiny new plotter.

Not quite the smooth day I'd imagined, but we made it through. Now, eyes forward to what's next, whatever it might be.
