Today has been a whirlwind of creativity and video recording. I began the morning full of ideas, primarily focused on the brush height video project. I wanted to get a good chunk of it recorded before Kris arrived and started making noise with his compressor upstairs. It was a bit of a race against time, but I dove in and made some good progress.

Mid-morning, I hit a natural stopping point in the video when it was time to start exploring the new AxiDraw with the brushless servo. This new piece of kit has me curious; it seems like there might be less range for the servo, but I'll find out soon enough.

After wrapping up the initial recording session, I turned my attention to some necessary admin work, including that dreaded W8 tax form for the US. I can't say it was the highlight of my day, but it had to be done.

Lunch came around, and I took a break to clear my head. A quick bit of shopping during lunch was on the agenda, but I didn't linger long as I had the #Weeknotes video to edit. Jumped back into the studio and got cracking on the editing process. It was a tight schedule, but thankfully the video was quite straightforward this week.

Interacting with the new Rodeo platform has been an interesting part of my day. It's similar to Instagram but with each post being mintable art. I'm trying to navigate its waters and see how it fits with the way I usually share my work. The concept of paying a bit to post adds a unique twist.

As the afternoon wore on, I felt pretty good about my creative output. If I had one critique, it would be my need to switch more fluidly between tasks. I can take a while to get into the next thing, but practice will help.

So, all in all, a productive and interesting day. I managed the video recording well despite the usual interruptions, got through some admin tasks, and made headway on the #weeknotes. Feeling a bit tired with everything weighing down on me, but we'll see how that goes tomorrow.
