Friday – Starting off early, I backed up Final Cut Pro and dove into reading the usual newsletters. The morning was mostly about getting up to speed; edited the "#Weeknots" video with dedication. Still, I got sidetracked by emails around mid-morning, but managed to catch up on them while waiting for the video export.

Post-lunch, I tackled the Stripe integration. It was challenging dealing with Webhook callbacks; pairing transactions with items proved tricky. I must add quantity management to "goods" to prevent selling the same item multiple times.

Despite the distractions, I kept my focus. Knowing the temperature wouldn’t spike too high helped in maintaining a conducive work environment. With breaks, water, and periodic leg stretches, I ensured my well-being wasn’t compromised during this busy day.

Creating the “#Weeknots” video was quick due to less material to edit, making the task more enjoyable. This added simplicity is something I might adopt for future projects. My hopes of moving the studio sale forward were dashed, as I anticipated more progress today. Fingers crossed for better news soon.

I was aiming to explore the organisational features within my shop. Adding tags and segmenting products provides complete control over display and sorting. This is something Shopify lacked, even though it allowed for categories. Coding it myself, though laborious, gives me the flexibility I need.

I reminisced about the constant improvements I'm trying to implement for the online shop. Integrating Stripe smoothly is the main goal for now. The upfront effort will definitely pay off with more control over how products appear on my site.

Final thoughts – the estate agent gave me nothing new on the studio’s sale. It continues to stress me out, waiting for the searches to come back. I also have to figure out practical steps to convert skills into income faster since the sales plan seems slow.

Even though the tasks are progressing well, there's an inherent frustration waiting for things to align.
