At the beginning of July, 2024, I started exploring a way to control the height of the pen holder on the AxiDraw drawing machine, with an eye to getting more expressive use out of brush pens. The early tests involved simple sine waves in lines and circles, later tests involved adjusting the height of the brush based on a source image. Here are some of the tests.
